I wanted to take a moment to thank you for showing me around Louisville Thursday. Wow! Your in-depth expertise of Louisville's history, entertainment, culture, housing, and general logistics could not be surpassed. Your hospitality was amazing and too kind. I could not have asked for a better introduction to the city.
I also thank you for introducing me to Stacy and her husband (tricky name). I have placed you on speed dial, as I am confident that if anyone can do anything to help make a tough transition seem simple, it would be you.

Laura Wallace is a fabulous hostess! Not only is she knowledgable about every aspect of the city, its people, its history, food, beverages, museums, etc., her enthusiasm is endearing and keeps you coming back for more. City Concierge is extremely hospitable, and Ms. Wallace has absolutely wonderful taste in the selections she presents on her tours. Not only did I feel like a VIP, but a rock star! Just wanted to let you know what a great time we had -! Thanks - for the incredible accommodations. I was walking around the museum at 3 o'clock in the morning looking at all the amazing stuff. I've known Laura Wallace for some time now, she's an interesting character on the scene, and I look at her website and facebook page in order to find out what's going on in town, paying close attention to her picks for the day.
When I told her I was going all out for my wife's 40th birthday, she offered to help and since I'm a man show type of guy I figured it couldn't hurt and she probably could do a better job than I could on my own.
My wife and I keep birthdays intimate, shunning the big surprise party thing, it normally consists of a night out, dinner, theater, or visiting a few places then coming home.
I bought my wife a car through an online auction site from a dealer a hundred miles away, Laura offered to go with me to pick it up, and drive my car back.
I didn't have anywhere to garage the car so she suggested I leave it parked at her apartment, to keep it a surprise. Keep in mind her birthday was still over a week away.
She asked me some questions, what kind of flowers my wife likes, what's her favorite color, what kind of wine she likes, any particular dislikes for food and where I planned to take her for dinner etc.
And she took care of the rest. She contacted the florist, made dinner reservations for us, arranged a prix fix menu soI didn't have to worry about ordering, chose the wine (big help too, thanks) and even had rose petals adorn our table that was tucked away in a dimly lit corner (very intimate) of the restaurant.
The day of she had the car washed, and followed me home to help me affix a big purple bow on the car then wished me a good evening and told me not to worry, everything is all set.
You should have seen my wife's face when she saw the car with a big bow on it, I had to pick her jaw up off the floor.
She was floating on air the whole evening, all the while thinking I had set all this up for her, well I'll just let her think that, but I could not have done as good a job on my own.
I would recommend Laura and City Concierge to anyone looking to make a special evening or moment that much more special, again thank you Laura for making me look so good when it really mattered.
